Background location access is used to provide real-time location updates to the company's dispatch system, enabling accurate shipment tracking, route monitoring, delivery verification, and operational management, even when the application is running in the background.

The application also allows captains to call clients, and for accountability purposes, it records only the dialed phone number and the duration of the call. It does not access, record, or store the content of any phone calls.
